Club 24 is an Indo-American organization in Houston, which fosters a tradition of building bridges with mainstream organizations in Houston as well as participating with major organizations to develop programs of need and significance to the Indo-American community in Houston. This year, Club 24 made cash awards ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to several organizations: Rotary Club of Memorial, St. John’s School, Lighthouse for the Blind, Kids Meal of Houston, Literacy Advance of Houston, and Pratham.
It was a fun filled evening with a philanthropic mission, as individuals donated checks to organizations including DAYA for women in need, Akal Vidyalaya a non-profit organization that deals with literacy in India and Houston PBS.

Event: Leadership Incubation with NetIP/CLUB 24 and Center for Houston’s Future

NetIP and CLUB 24 put together an evening of professional and personal development. The event was held at one of CLUB 24′s members’ home.
Business and community leaders from CLUB 24 and the Center for Houston’s Future participated and mingled with the young professionals from the Network of Indian Professionals, a networking group spread nationally that engages its patrons through events in professional development, cultural and political awareness and community service.
The event was part of a series of events that NetIP will be hosting. “This great opportunity is solely possible due to the strategic partnership with CLUB 24, a philanthropic organization made up of business and community leaders engaged in building bridges between various organizations to encourage leadership and community growth,” informed Ajay Sarpeshkar, NetIP President.
