Lights Camera Action! is an informative and entertaining social blog spearheaded by veteran print and television journalist Ruchi M.
Ruchi started her career with the much talked about English daily newspaper Times Of India as a city reporter in Kolkata, India. Her stories have journeyed from Kolkata’s notorious red light districts, NASA breaking news to the most happening parties in New York, Beverly Hills, and Houston. Her niche is ‘Lifestyle’.
For the past seven years Ruchi has been sustaining a lifestyle Sunday column from the United States with the 133 years old English daily newspaper The Statesman. Her articles have also been published in esteemed newspapers like The Indian Express and India Abroad.
At present she also serves as a Houston Correspondent for the News Channel TV Asia. Along with her stint with journalism and reporting Ruchi takes active initiative to volunteer for various non-profit organizations that involve women and children.
