The Red Bull Art of Can 2008 national collection was unveiled to more than 1,000 guests at the Houston Galleria Mall where attendees celebrated the work of emerging artists. Innovative artists submitted their designs for consideration.
The Houston contest received more than 400 applications from 14 different countries and India was one of them. Forty-seven pieces were ultimately selected to be a part of this year’s collection. The featured artists are creative types of all ages and occupations, from medical to high school students.
The Red Bull Art of Can contest gave artists a platform to share their art with abroad audience.
